October 3rd, 2017 – Springfield, MO – Brewer Science, in cooperation with the Springfield Regional Arts Council and Arts Rolla, will host an exhibit featuring original art and photography at the Creamery Arts Center during the month of October. “Pure Enjoyment,” a juried exhibit, will feature 121 works of original art, photography, and dimensional art from 58 artists representing 2 states and 26 different cities. The public is invited to attend the opening reception, which is a part of the First Friday Art Walk, on October 6 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Creamery Arts Center, located at 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield, MO.
This year’s artwork was juried by Denene Taliaferro from Springfield, MO. Selected artwork will be on display from October 6 through October 27, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Brewer Science has a tradition of sponsoring world-class artistic performances and cultural opportunities to encourage innovation and creativity, not only among its employees, but also in the community at large. Pure Enjoyment is one of many artistic events that Brewer Science, a Missouri-based technology manufacturing company, sponsors annually.
“Showcasing the immense talent across the Midwest at The Creamery brings a great deal of joy to artists and patrons alike,” Springfield Regional Arts Council Executive Director Leslie Forrester says. “This year’s exhibition will be the best yet.”
One of this exhibit’s unique qualities is its display of an eclectic mixture of artwork not typically found at a single location.
