July 15, 2015 – San Francisco, CA – Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and CEO of Brewer Science, a leading global technology company, will take part in a prestigious panel at SEMICON West 2015.
Dr. Brewer and other global tech leaders will participate in a special panel as part of SEMICON West’s University Day program, which focuses on encouraging and cultivating the next generation of technology leaders.
Dr. Brewer has been regarded as a prominent industry expert in semiconductor manufacturing since 1981, when Brewer Science was founded. University Day will provide an opportunity for college and university students and instructors in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to gain greater understanding of the opportunities found in the semiconductor industry. Earlier in 2015, Dr. Terry Brewer was honored with the Kathryn C. Hach Award for entrepreneurial success from the American Chemical Society. He was also the recipient of the 2014 SEMI Award for North America. Under Dr. Brewer’s leadership, Brewer Science was recognized as one of the Top 50 Employers by Minority Engineer magazine in 2014 and again in 2015. The company received recognition from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a Top Workplace in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
